Michael Obbo Onen is the Lead Pastor at Mavuno Church Kampala and the team leader of the Mavuno Churches in Uganda. His passion and commitment to the Gospel have birthed an adventurous life in ministry for the past 25 years and counting.

He is a graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Communication Arts from the University of Jos in Plateau State Nigeria. He possesses an incredible passion for true worship through music.

As a singer, songwriter and actor, he has two albums under his belt and appeared in several films. He is a seasoned teacher of the Word of God and has mentored many young people in their walk of faith. His dream is to raise the next generation of worshippers.

This Friday March 22, 2024, Pastor. Michael will be launching a book; Tenacious: The Diary of A Leader. This is a story of the leadership journey of Michael Obbo Onen - the different seasons of his life, his ups and downs, his losses and victories. It is a story of perseverance. Michael's prayer is that as you read this book, you will be inspired and learn from his journey of faith and perseverance as God Moulds you into who He wants you to be.
